Summer Coffee Schedule


We are currently on hiatus for the summer, but still accessible. You may find us at the dates and times listed herein. Feel free to stop by if you are in Warsaw, we are always happy to welcome new faces as well as greet old friends. Coffee mornings are without RSVP and very casual, a board member will be present to help you with any questions. You may also sign up for membership at any time, or just say hello, there’s no pressure.

We hope to see you soon and wish you and yours a wonderful summer!

IWG Spring Fair, May 14, 2018

Please mark your calendars for May 14th at the Warsaw Marriott, we will be holding a wonderful Spring Fair with lots of opportunities to participate in beauty and health workshops, shopping and more.
Free admission of course, and coffee and tea are included so please join us and pamper yourself!

January 8, 2018 Monthly Meeting

Please join us on Monday, January 8th, from 10:30 am onwards for a bright concert to kick off the new year! Coffee, tea, and conversation are served as always. At the Warsaw Marriott.

IWG Holiday Bazaar – November 13, 10 am – 4pm

This year will be an extraordinary event, in cooperation with the International Friends of Warsaw, we will have some of Warsaw’s best and most original vendors on hand, on November 13 in the Marriott. 10 am – 4pm.

It’s a chance to buy directly from the vendors just in time for the holidays — beautiful handmade jewelry, linens, organic teas, gift baskets, Christmas cards, and traditional Polish crafts like paper cutting art and glass ornaments. Do not miss this once a year event!

Entry is free of charge and open to all.

Opening Meeting, Monday, September 18

Opening Meeting, a welcome, informational meeting where we present our small group schedule and outline the year ahead, all are welcome to join, you may renew membership as well.

Additional dates for 2017/18:

September 25, 2017– Day Trip to the Radziwills’ Palace in Nieborów and the Romantic Garden “Arkadia” near Nieborów, as well as the historic Majolica Manufacture. Bus fare, museum entries, guide fee included, approx.. 150pln, details to be announced soon.

October 2, 2017October Monthly Meeting, a chance to join a lecture or workshop, have a cup of coffee or tea, and sign up for programs. 10

November 13, 2017–  Annual IWG Holiday Bazaar, small vendors join us for a great event to browse handmade bags, beautiful jewelry, cosmetics pottery and many other gifts for yourself or friends and family. The IWG has a food court where you may purchase international treats to take home as well.

December 11, 2017–   Annual Christmas Lunch, the Marriott will have a wonderful menu for us to celebrate 2017 and toast 2018 together. Included in IWG membership.

One of Poland’s most accomplished designers, Viola Spiechowicz, will personally present her collection at a showing for the IWG. Her pieces are timeless and elegant. Viola is a very warm and generous artist, and we will have a Q&A session with her and explore her collection together. It will be an exceptional day!

Salon and Day Spa “Escape” will be there with their exclusive Sothys line, and will show us makeup trends for 2017.

Whether you are a fashionista or more comfortable in sneakers, there will be something for everyone on April 10. Easy, accessible, yet elegant fashion and makeup all around.

All of our models will be IWG members, so come and support your friends! Both, events are open to guests, so please feel free to spread the word!

11:00-11:45 am: Guest Speaker, Yachtmaster Offshore of theRoyal Yachting Association, traveler, writer and public speaker Andy Jankowski. The former spokesman of the underground Student’s Union and Polish diplomat. A graduate of Oxford University, a participant of the Oxford Union Debating Society, and above all, passionate dreamer.

Currently, he is partaking in an extraordinary voyage sailing Around the World.

He’ll tell us about how his experiences in corporate communication led him to where he is today, and the importance of following your dreams.

What to expect at our February Monthly Meeting:

As always we will have coffee, tea and snacks waiting for you to start (10:30 am). Then around 11 a.m., our IWG member and professional dancer Takako will lead us in some simple stretch exercise to warm up and break the ice.

Just following, we will be joined by Ola Rokicka, a sociologist, with postgraduate studies of Human Resources Management. She specializes in business consulting and social communication, and currently works as an account manager for corporate international clients in one of the leading European banks. She is a social activist and Board Member and Director of the Teens Matter Program, which supports underprivileged young adults get a strong start in life with career counseling, English lessons and support.
