This trip is perfect for kids and their parents, people who have a passion for steam trains and narrow-gauge railways or those who want to spend Sunday with friends in the bosom of nature.



  • 8:10 – meeting point: at Warsaw’s Palace of Culture and Science
  • 8:20 – bus departure
  • 9:30 – arrival at The Old Trains Museum in Sochaczew (Licealna street 18)
  • 9.50 – 10:30 – a visit at the Old Trains Museum with a Tour Guide in Polish or with a

    Tour Guide in English (extra cost 120PLN/group)

  • 10:30 – 11:45 – a ride on the Retro Steam Train to Kampinoski National Park (Wilcze Tułowskie)

  • 11:45 – 12:25 – a short walk in the forest with a Tour Guide

  • 12:25 – 12:35 – a ride on the Retro Train to Tułowice

  • 12:35 – 14:15 – a bonfire* in Tułowice (on the meadow next to the small river Łasica)

  • 14.15 – 15:20 –  a return ride on the Retro Train to The Old Trains Museum in Sochaczew

  • 15:30 – 15:40 – a return from Sochaczew to Warsaw by bus


*Food and drinks at the bonfire are not provided. You can take it from home or buy at the bar/small shop on the spot. Maybe let’s share and have a picnic

You can also get to Sochaczew by your own car, it is about one hour drive. Be sure you will be at 9:30 in front of the Museum.


The cost of the trip:

  • Registration fee: 10 PLN

  • Museum and Retro Train ticket:

    • 30 PLN/adult;
    • 25 PLN/child above 4;
    • 10 PLN/child under 4 (on adult’s knee)
  • Bus (with 20 seats) transfer: 50 PLN/person when 17-20 people on the bus*
    *In case of number of participants between 17 and 10 bus rental costs per person will increase up to 90 PLN. Minimum of participants 10 people.
